At the fifth day of Chinese New Year, Evon Leong inviting me for a dinner at Tao Restaurant which i wish to go long time ago but no chance. After promised her, i only been informed that
her boy friend, David would go too and i seem like spot light that day who spoil their romantic date. Hehe, but at least i have a great meal that day, wow!
Erm.. this Taoist Head as deco in the restaurant is a bit terror for me.
This restaurant is a buffet style serving, there are few sessions in a day that you can choose, that night we were going the last session, from 8.30pm to 10.30pm actually we were leaving by 11pm since they didn't hurry us, this might be due to no more session to prepare after us.. They charge RM50++ for each person, and you can order any food from the menu anytime you like, this is a bit different from other buffet restaurant which you need to quee up to grab the food yourself, here the waiter and waitress will do it for you.
Somemore, i would give the waitress and waiters there two thumbs up for their good serve, they are so kindness and charming, furthermore they placed few waiters in each corner so that we can actually get them very fast and then our food as well. wow!
Outside the restaurant, the way going to the stair of the restaurant give us a relax scene.
i like the entrance from the reception to the dinning place, the stone, water and plant, such a natural way..
even near the table there are a lot of plant which block out table to put more food on it, good technique for preventing us order too much food in a time.
there is a lot of japanese style long table for big gang of friends and family. Actually i not quite like this kind of table becuase i dont like to take off my shoes at restaurant.
The management are so sweet and concern, they even prepare a big bed in the restaurant for us, wahaha, again Evon choose me to be beside her on bed and not David, so sorry to him, hehe..
At the other corner of the restaurant, some one is singing to entertain customers.
Varieties of alcoholic drinks making these place more elegant..
Me, Evon Leong and David..
The background was full of chinese new year feel.
I love this ice-cream, there is a lot of almond in every spoon of the ice-cream, i love it!
The lamb-shoulder steak is one of the famous food here, but i don't like to eat lamb so wonder how to describe the taste..
This grilled salmon was so juicy and delicious. We ordered two plated or 4 pieces of it becuase we love salmon which rich with omega-3 fish oil. wow!
Although the food here can be ordered as many you like but the salad have to take by ourselves. I thing that i took a lot was the alfalfa, which claimed as on of the best detox foods by nutritionists.
However the mantis (lai lui har) was not good, we only can taste the thick fried flour surrounding it but no the prawn.
This was the best scallops i have eat in my life. Really, the source was sweet and spicy with the mix herbs smell, the scallops were fresh and the taste was spread full of my mouth with every bite! Hence, we ate 3 large plates of it that night!
Shashimi also fresh.
Another best food i had there is the abalone, i swear it was the most delicious abalone i had in my life may be because i seldom ate abalone before, but its really nice..
After dinner, we were so full so we decide to have a walk at the fashion market of auto-city. It is a place similar as NZX(ara damansara) where sell cloth, jewellery, handy-craft etc.
i felt weird when i saw the christmas tree were put together with tanglung and they hang the ang pao on christmas tree instead of the shining balls.
